Inside the Sky Ride warehouse. The building is connected to the Towers Street station, so that gondolas can be moved onto the main ride circuit and also removed where neccessary.

In a warehouse behind Towers Street/Mutiny Bay, some Sonic Spinball cars have been stripped down for their winter maintenance checks.

In comparison to Oblivion, Air (SW5) is getting much more publicity. This large banner was fastened to the fence that surrounds the site at the beginning of the season, but now is at the top of Towers Street.

August 2001The poster appears on the door to the Kodak booth at the top of Towers Street. A vague artist's impression of the ride indicates to us that this is not what we should expect the ride to look like. It is there to give the public the idea of what a flying coaster is.

The exterior of Doom & Sons in Talbot Street is not recognisable these days.

This Peugeot was sat outside the Cred Street Theatre, complete with "Tussauds Group" logo on the bonnet.

The lower end of Cred Street is now completely closed off.

The answer is the Cred Street Carousel, which used to be situated where the patch of soil is on this photo.

More work has been done in the area next to the archway that joins Fountain Square to Cred Street.

A bridge is being constructed to allow guests to get from Fountain Square into Cred Street through the archway, rather than having to go the long way around.

The bridge connecting the lower end of Cred Street with Fountain Square is now complete. Note also the pole which will be part of the zebra crossing.

Corkscrew's entrance sign, removed for the time being as the ride's queueline is being remodeled. The sign is being stored outside the Tussaud's Art Workshop behind Cred Street.

The fencing for the new Corkscrew & Rita queuelines arrived yesterday. It is in storage just in front of McDonald's Cred Street Diner.

Construction of steel is around half completed now. The coaster is so large, it can be seen from Towers Street, at the other end of the park!

Ug Bugs, which has been relocated to the old Cadbury's Chocolate House site in Cred Street. It remains to be seen whether the ride will keep its old name in 2005.

October 2004This poster appears at the bottom of Towers Street. It has the slogan "Phwoarrr!!!", and informs the public of how fast the new ride will be. It also advertises the park's website for the new ride.
