The Tea Cups have already been removed for refurbishment.

Next year, the ride will be themed as 'drunken barrels', and will be renamed to "Marauder's Mayhem".

The tea-cup theme has remained the same throughout the 21 years this ride has been at the park.

The 'spinning wheels' used to control each gondola lie at the side of the turntable.

Over to the Battle Galleons construction site next.

Many footers have now been put in place.

The footers will form the layout which the boats will follow.

Work continues at the far end of the lake.

The site office, sat next to the Courtyard Tavern.

The route that the boats will take is clearly visible here.

You can see framework for some sort of structure in front of the line of footers. Pirate-y theming perhaps?

Some steel framework sits on what was the Splash Kart Challenge station platform.
