A major part of the theming for Battle Galleons is this ghost ship, currently under construction.
The ship is being built at Tussauds Studios North, which resides at Alton Towers.
Looking down the side of the ship, which will sit beside the Battle Galleons station.
You can see the portholes in the side for the water cannons.
Guests will walk through the ship as part of the queue for the ride.
You can see a large hole in the side of the ship, possibly to allow guests to go through.
Moving towards the front of the ship.
Mutiny Bay's 'dark' theme is depicted rather nicely with this skull figurehead.
A side-on look at the figurehead.
Looking down the other side of the ship.
Notice there is no gap in the structure on this side.
Looking at the back of the ship.
If this is anything to go by, Mutiny Bay will be themed incredibly well.
Over at the Battle Galleons construction site, no track has yet appeared.
Looking down the pathway that is adjacent to the Courtyard Tavern.
You can clearly see one of the platforms where guests will be able to soak riders with water guns.
The footers for the track all now seem to be in place.
A lot of work has been done on the station, which is rumoured to be castle themed.
Another look at the station structure from the other side.
Work is being done on what used to be the Jester's Court McDonald's, as they are being replaced by Burger King.
The games units which used to line these walls have been removed, presumably temporarily, to allow the repainting of the building.
The blue decals adorning the Tea Cup Ride have all but disappeared, and the operator's cabin has been painted white.
Half of a teapot, which used to sit in the middle of the ride.
The other half lies nearby.
The rest of the ride remains the same while the rethemed gondolas are being worked on elsewhere.
